Barche Autonome

Vessel Behaviour Analysis

Autonomous vessels have been developed for operating over long periods of time, either on the sea surface or underwater.  These vessels can carry many different sensors for collecting data about the marine environment or about marine facilities such as offshore windfarms.  Some example applications include:

Measuring levels of contamination or nutrients in seawater, to ensure marine environmental quality and detect abnormal sources of pollution

Detecting fish and cetaceans to monitor population levels

Inspecting seabed cables that carry electricity from offshore renewable energy facilities

These systems can collect very large quantities of data which are then analysed (using advanced data analytics and AI) to extract the information needed.
